Tiffany Gallegos – Mayor–Term expires April 2022
Tiffany Gallegos is a fourth generation native to San Luis. Her family members were San Luis pioneers. “I am proud to be a citizen of the oldest established town of Colorado,” she said. “Being pioneers, along with other families of our community, it is important to preserve our heritage and culture. My parents have always given back to our community. I am following their legacy. I want to give back to our community. I want to help make our community to become whole again.”

Roberta RomeroTrustee – Term expires April 2024
Roberta is the daughter of Bobby and Sandra Romero. She was born and raised in San Luis, the mother of two daughters, Mariah and Angela and her hobbies are hunting, fishing, mountains and spending time with family.

Jessica Durgan – Trustee – Term expires April 2024

Jessica Ortega-Durgan is a Colorado Native with deep roots in the San Luis Valley. As a wife and homeschooling mother of three, Jessica started her professional career in Total Quality Management (TQM) for manufacturing companies and has since worked extensively over the last 20 years in Early Childhood Education(ECE), building community/student relations through school, church and volunteerism. In the last five years after moving to San Luis following the death of her father, Jessica has worked for RMSER Headstart, Sierra Grand, Kanugi Potato Farm, Central Oil/Piccadilly’s, Costilla County Elections, Adelante San Luis and has served as a volunteer on the Land Rights Council, Park & Recreation, Pee Wee sports and church funerals. Jessica received jer education in TQM certification and ECE associates from South Seattle Community College.

Shantae Martinez
Trustee – Term Expires 2020
Shantae is the daughter of Ricky Martinez and the late Audrey Martinez, granddaughter of Eulalio and Frances Martinez. Born and raised in San Luis, Shantae is a graduate of Centennial High School. Currently she is employed at Valley Wide Health Services as a Call Center Representative. Previously, she was employed at the Department of Social Services for five years. Shantae enjoys playing sports, being outdoors, loves her pets and being involved in the community. Shantae shared, "I am very excited for this opportunity to serve as town trustee. I am looking forward to helping create new exciting changes in our community. Please feel free to reach out to me for anything you need."
